Hand Knit; Hand Dyed Cap Sleeve Sweater


Various reclaimed & scrap yarns hand knit into  pattern pieces, sewn together and dyed in a disperse dye vat. Knit on 8mm gauge needle with yarns of different weights.

Hand Spun; Hand Knit Cap Sleeve Sweater


Jacob Top wool & (my rabbit Sophie’s) rabbit fur carded to make rolags for spinning. Single ply yarn spun on drop spindle. At times dyed, always soaked, washed, thwaked then hung to dry. Each skein was knit flat on circular needles after finishing. Dolman pattern pieces joined together to complete a batwinged sleeve  sweater.
